My kids, on film.

I started off my photography journey in high school with my dads old Minolta. Oh how I love that camera. Many hours in my high school dark room, many  rolls of film ruined  trying to roll them on the reel. I fell in love watching my photos come to life. I also studied photography as CSUN, where I actually majored in Deaf Studies. The darkroom at CSUN was awesome, I didn’t need it as an elective, but I had to take atleast one class per semester to keep my heart content. I decided recently to add a little film back into my life, for personal reasons. It has helped me slow down and capture the moment, clicking only when the time is right. Film has such a different feel and I love how it looks on my kids.

It also looks amazing on my Grandma <3

These are beautiful- I had to laugh because I, too, started out in high school on an old Minolta (that’s how it should be ;) )…I just recently ordered film & can’t wait to start playing with it again, there’s just something you miss with digital that you got with film :)
